SecludedGems helps you find under-the-radar Steam games based on a public Steam profile you choose to submit. This page explains what we do with data. Plain version: we don't keep your library.
When you submit a Steam profile, we read public Steam data for that profile: owned games, playtime, and recently played games. We never ask for, see, or store your Steam password — we only use Steam's public APIs. If a profile's game details are private, we get nothing.
We condense the library into a short taste summary (top genres, recent activity) and send that summary plus a list of candidate games to an AI model (Google Gemini) to generate recommendations and short reasons. We send game/genre/taste data only — not your name or identity.
We do not permanently store your library. To make repeat views fast and to limit cost, we briefly cache the generated recommendations for your Steam ID (up to ~2 hours), after which they expire automatically. We don't build user profiles or sell data.
The core tool works without tracking cookies. Analytics cookies (above) are used only if/when analytics is enabled, subject to consent where the law requires it.
Don't want your profile read? Simply don't submit it, or set your Steam game details to private. There are no accounts and nothing to delete, since we don't retain libraries.
